• Welcome to Highlands Cooperative. We are glad that you are interested in becoming a member of our community.

• Highlands Cooperative, a nonprofit Corporation under the laws of Michigan, was formed to provide reasonably priced housing to qualified member through "Federally-aided mortgages.

• As a member, you would share in the ownership. You would have certain tax advantages both individually and as a Corporation. Unlike condominiums, you do not own the individual unit; nor do you have the liability of a mortgage or tax responsibilities. Your membership also entitles you to the private use of your townhome and to vote (one vote per townhome) in the operation of the Corporation.

• Highlands Cooperative spans over 26 acres, with beautiful landscaping, trees, shrubs, as well as many personal touches created by our members who live here.

• There are one, two, and three bedroom townhomes which means that no one lives above or below you. It also provides you with your own private front and back entrances and spacious full basements.

• Decorating your townhome is encouraged. Your own personal touches make your townhome more comfortable and enhances the down home feeling.

• Highlands Cooperative is located on the south side of Lansing close to shopping centers, parks, health clubs, and I-96.
