Meeting called to order at 5:05 p.m.
Smith moved, Ellena seconded to accept the January 29, 2006 Open Session Minutes. Approved 3-0.
None at this time.
COMMITTEE REPORTS
None at this time.
SENIOR ESCAPE
Details of the May 12, 2006 Midwest
Management Senior Escape in Frankenmuth were discussed. There was Board consensus to approve the
rental of a 10-seat van to offer for transportation to Senior Escape. Management will send out a flyer with details
of the event, noting the limited seating availability for transportation.
OLD BUSINESS
Mailboxes: Ms. Jane reported seeing a mailbox across the
street from her that is in need of repair/replacement. She stated that the decals on the mailbox are
curling up. Ms. Miller will investigate.
Trash: Ms. Ellena asked Management if
trash monitoring was being done at this time.
Ms. Miller will place a reminder on the back of the March, 2006 calendar
regarding the dates and times of trash pick up.
Soon after that, Highlands Cooperative staff will collect trash placed
out at wrong times and issue fines to members who have violated the policy.
Open Windows: Ms. Ellena
asked if Highlands Grounds and/or Maintenance staff is actively looking for
open windows/doors on the property. Ms.
Miller stated that when open windows or doors are noticed by

Bingo: Management stated that bingo
will be held March 15, 2006.
2006 Meeting Schedule: Board
meetings will continue to be held on the last Sunday of each month.
